Mud Bath (Clay Bath) Therapeutic Benefits
Earth is one of the five elements (pancha mahabhutas) found in our body. The earth gives vital energy to the body, new life, new health, vigor and strength. So, mud plays a prominent role in curing diseases. Hence, mud packs and baths came into practice. The mud bath is also called clay bath.
The therapeutic benefits derived from the use of mud are very similar to those of hydrotherapy. In mud bath, the entire body (except head) of the patient is covered in mud of suitable consistency.
Mud of any color can be used provided it does not contain harmful material or chemicals. The mud is obtained and purified. It is applied all over the body. The patient is kept in the mud up to his neck. The paste thus obtained as a smooth paste mixed with hot water and spread on a sheet which is wrapped around the body. And one or two blankets are then wrapped around the body. Then it is cleaned with warm bath, later cold shower bath. But if the cooling effect is desired, the clay should be left uncovered.
There are several health benefits of mud bath. It tones up the skin by increasing circulation and soothes the nerves. It enhances the beauty and color complexion of the skin. It is beneficial in leprosy, psoriasis and leucoderma. It is also useful in relieving rheumatic pain and pain in the joints. The probable duration of treatment runs from half an hour to one hour. It is also used as beauty treatment. It absorbs the toxins from the body. It reduces the swelling of any part of the body.

Hair Brushes?! Best answer 10 points!!!?
I went to Winners today and I bought a hair brush. The brand is Earth Therapeutics and it has soft grip. I got it for about 8 dollars, and it says it's compared to 13 dollars. I was wondering if it is worth 8 dollars? Are hair brushes usually that price? Is the brand good, that's why? If it's not worth it, could you recommend any good and cute hair brushes for a cheaper price? Tell me the brand, and where to get it, but I don't want to buy it online. Thanks
8 dollars is a steal for a brush! The price of brushes is determined by the kind of hair brush it is and the materials... of the brushes I use for clients, they run from around fifteen dollars for the cheapest up to two hundred for the mason pearson boar bristle brush. For a personal brush, what you want is something well made that wont snap or snap hair and something comfortable to use that you like, it sounds like you got this and you got it for a good price =)!
